It was lovely to attend the farewell service for The Lord Bishop of Exeter, The Right Revd Robert
Atwell, this morning from Exeter Cathedral.

Bishop Atwell has been Bishop of Exeter since 2014. The Diocese of Exeter covers the county of
Devonshire. He also sits in the House of Lords and is chair of the Church of England’s Liturgical
Commission. He also speaks on Rural Affairs for the Church of England.
