Mr Borrow-Longain was honoured and privileged to have been granted by Johann Heinrich
Pestalozzi University, a Professorship Honoris Causa.

Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi Christian University (JHPCU) was founded as a non-profit spiritual
and educational corporation, in Miami, Florida, in 2017. The Members of the prior Steering
Committee became the University’s Board of Directors upon incorporation. In 2016, after a
feasibility study, the Steering Committee decided to create and develop a small, selective,
studium based university inspired by the spiritual philosophy of Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi
(Father Pestalozzi), the enlightened and visionary later 18th / early 19th century Swiss pedagogist
and reformer. Father Pestalozzi is our spiritual guide and the inspiration for our educationalphilosophy. Whilst the University is Christian in its character, the University is ecumenical in
reach and is not exclusively associated with any particular confessional denomination.
